About me

I'm a tech leader who uses technology to solve actual, real-world problems, where and when it's relevant.

I have more than 23 years of professional experience in the technology field. I have worked in miscellaneous industries (education, retail, finance, logistics, Web hosting, healthcare), from a tiny start-up to large-scale organizations. I officiated as Software Development Engineer, Tech Lead (leading, mentoring and training talented software engineers across three continents), and Engineering Manager. Across my experiences, I've had the chance to impact the lives of thousands (direct and indirect users, customers, and leaders) by designing technical systems which resulted in savings in the order of millions of hours (and time is money),

My last endeavor, to date, is entrepreneurship. I founded Hippocrate to support health professionals in Luxembourg.
I do not have their skills, though I can free them time so they help more patients. Hippocrate's first product, Sigmund, is a digital assistant for psychotherapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists. It simplifies their activity so they can focus on their core value: healing.

As someone who balances the value of technology with its relevance to the problem addressed, and with is impact on our environment, I'm interested in low tech and solarpunk movements.

In my spare time, I'm a hobbyist cooker.
