Ruby on Rails seasoned developer

About me

I am an old, but passionate developer. I have extensive experience in programming and software architecture design.

I started with C/C++ and X-Windows on UNIX and, working in multiple projects, I have used languages and frameworks such as Ruby/Ruby on Rails, Python/Flask, JavaScript (jQuery, AngularJs, VueJs, React) and SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB), always using git, sometimes Docker and often building and consuming RESTful APIs.
I have worked closely with clients turning business requirements into technical specifications for software built by myself and other programmers.
I have experience in various business sectors including Fashion, Telecommunications, Fintech and Insurance.
I worked on projects of different sizes, from very small (alone or with two or three collaborators) to those involving hundreds of people, working in large companies such as Samsung, Prada, Siemens and start-ups and small and medium-sized companies, often using Agile methodologies (especially SCRUM).
