Ruby on Rails Software Engineer

About me

As a Software Engineer at Dopay, I contribute to a distributed, microservices-based fintech platform that simplifies payroll processing and money transfers. I work primarily with Ruby on Rails, focusing on the Enterprise service, which manages administrative operations like payment approvals, company management, and beneficiary handling. I have a strong background in full-stack development, having worked with Slim for templating and CoffeeScript for dynamic UI interactions. I also have experience in optimizing features for the Enterprise microservice, ensuring seamless financial operations. Additionally, I have worked with PostgreSQL, optimizing queries for high-volume transactions. I am proficient in Ruby on Rails, Elasticsearch, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, and I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Helwan University Cairo and a nano degree in web development from Udacity. I am passionate about learning new technologies and improving my skills, and I am always eager to take on new challenges and contribute to innovative projects.
